Each Sage AI question consumes ~100 credits. Credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no monetary value outside the Taraanaya platform.

Taraanaya Astrotech Private Limited (the "Company", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act, India).
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, Google/Apple sign-in identifier.
- Astrology inputs: birth date, birth time, birth place (used solely to compute your personalised Vedic chart).
- Payment data: processed by Razorpay (web) and Google Play Billing / Apple IAP (mobile). We never see or store your card / UPI / bank details.
- Usage analytics: aggregated, anonymised — Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel, PostHog (functional), Google Analytics.
- Device data: device ID, OS version, app version, crash logs (for support and bug-fixing).
How we use it
- To deliver the personalised astrology services you have purchased.
- To process payments, issue invoices, and prevent fraud.
- To send transactional emails / OTPs and (with consent) marketing messages.
- To improve our products, fix bugs, and ensure platform safety.
Sharing
We never sell your data. We share strictly with: (a) payment processors (Razorpay, Google, Apple, BillDesk for KYC compliance); (b) cloud infrastructure (MongoDB Atlas, Railway, Cloudflare); (c) authorities upon valid legal request.
Your rights
Under DPDP Act 2023 you can access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent, and lodge a grievance by writing to taraanaya@taraanaya.ai. Our Grievance Officer responds within 30 days.
Data retention & security
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with law. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Servers are located in India / Asia.

By creating an account or making a purchase on Taraanaya you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and an Indian resident to purchase paid subscriptions. Anyone above 13 years may use the free preview.
2. Nature of service
Taraanaya provides Vedic astrology content for personal entertainment, reflection and decision-making support. Predictions are not medical, legal, financial or psychiatric advice. We make no guarantee that any predicted outcome will materialise.
3. Subscription and billing
Subscriptions are 30-day, non-auto-renewing on web (manual renewal); auto-renewing where the platform (Google Play / Apple) supports it, with cancellation possible anytime in the platform's billing settings. Credit packs are one-time, non-expiring. All prices are inclusive of 18% GST unless stated otherwise. Currency: Indian Rupees (INR).
4. User conduct
You will not (a) misuse the service, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape, (c) resell content, (d) input fraudulent payment details, (e) impersonate another person, (f) use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Intellectual property
All content (algorithms, narrations, videos, voiceovers, brand marks, code) is the exclusive property of the Company. Limited personal-use licence is granted upon purchase.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, the Company's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months. We disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Refund & Cancellation Policy

Taraanaya sells digital subscription services and pre-paid digital credits. Because content is delivered immediately upon successful payment, the following refund rules apply:
Subscription Plans (₹199 / ₹599 / ₹999)
- 7-day full refund if you have not consumed the personalised content (Past Story video, Future Reels, Domain Insights). Email taraanaya@taraanaya.ai from the registered email.
- Once any premium video / narration has been streamed, the subscription is deemed delivered and is non-refundable.
- Plan upgrade (e.g. Starter → Premium) within an active subscription is treated as a top-up; no refund of original plan is issued.
- Auto-renewals (Google Play / Apple) can be cancelled in the respective store's subscription settings up to 24 hours before the next billing cycle.
Sage AI Question Credit Packs (₹199 / ₹599 / ₹999)
- Once credits are added to your wallet they are non-refundable.
- If credits were not added due to a technical failure but money was debited, full refund within 7 working days.
- Unused credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside the platform.
Refund process
- Email taraanaya@taraanaya.ai with the order ID, payment ID and reason.
- Acknowledged within 48 hours; resolution within 7 working days.
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment instrument (UPI / card / wallet) within 5–10 working days.
